2 Under Par had recently made a trip to Fremont Jr High and sang for the Andres Rodgers’ advanced choir and this workshop gave her the opportunity to spread the word about what a good time was had by all and for the quartet to offer the same type of experience to the educators attending the workshop. When can 2 Under Par expect the chance to sing for your class? Contact us and let’s see if we can find a date that will allow us this opportunity.

What
can be more fun than lunch at Joe’s Real B-B-Q with a couple of
friends and happen to stumble into a BarberShop Quartet looking for
someone who would like to hear them sing? This bunch of guys hang
out at Joe’s almost every Tuesday about lunch time and try to
find someone to listen to them for a couple songs. They caught up
with a family and wouldn’t let them out the door until the kids
had heard Zippity Doo Da and a few other songs. Click on the
calendar on our home page and see if 2
Under Par is going to be there the next Tuesday. Stop by
for lunch and we will sing a song or to for you too.
And what is a Birthday Party without a BarberShop Quartet to sing Happy Birthday !!!! Marsha’s dad, who lives in Oklahoma, wanted a special event for Marsha’s birthday and decided a BarberShop Quartet would fit the bill. He found 2 Under Par though the East Valley LampLighter’s home page and contacted Charlie to see if we were the ones who would have the opportunity to sing for the very special girl on her special day. All it took was a clandestine call to Marsha’s room mate Tara to arrange a surprise lunch at the Cheese Cake factory and the party was on. With a little help from the helpful staff at the Chandler Mall Cheese Cake Factory everything was put in place and Marsha was caught completely surprised with a wonderful bouquet of flowers and four guys smiling with delight as they serenaded her on her birthday. We are not sure who had the most fun Marsha, the Quartet, or the patrons and staff at the Cheese Cake Factory. We checked with Dad the next day to see if we had done him right and he told us the first words out of Marsha’s mouth were “I am gonna kill you”. I was not aware we sang that poorly. All went well and Marsha started her 22nd year with a smile on her face and a Birthday she will remember all of her life.
